We gather as a church family each Sunday at 10:30 at ER Mason Youth Centre, Irving Street, B1 1DH.
When we gather we do the kind of stuff Christians have always done, and seek to do so in a relevant and meaningful way. This means we sing songs that respect God and remind us of truth; talk to God in prayer; read the Bible and listen to someone teach its message; and share communion to remember and celebrate Jesus’ death. We also put on activities for children. If you join us, you won’t be forced to do anything you wouldn’t normally do, and are very welcome to just come and observe.
We try to create an atmosphere in which friendships can flourish, so we share a (free) lunch together on the first Sunday of the month at the youth centre and spend time hanging out and discussing current and important issues. On other Sunday’s you are in with a good chance of being invited to someone’s house for lunch. We aim to be an accessible and welcoming place for all people to find out more about Jesus.
Everyone is welcome so please do come and join us – we would love to meet you.
We also gather as smaller communities mid-week. This helps us invest in relationships and share our lives in a meaningful way. In many ways our Community Groups are the life-blood of our church.
When we catch up as Community Groups we often enjoy food together, spend time discussing the Bible and reflecting on things we are learning in life, as well as practically and spiritually supporting one another. It is the context in which we grow in practicing our faith in a real, down to earth kind of way.
But every Community Group is different so get involved to find out more.
